When Should I get a GPS. Now or Later? ?

If you can survive on mapquest I would do that until getting one in college. I agree with you on the fact that by the team you will be in college, It will be old, possibly slow, and you will be tempted to buy the new and improved, with better features. Just wait it out is my advice!
