I didn't steal anything?

ok so here is this scoop. i was driving while i was suspended right and i gave them my brothers name so i can try to get out of it cause i was like less then a mile away from my house. well ended my whole car got searched and found some stolen goods that i didn't steal. so now i am being charged with stealing the stuff. so i am facing fenoly charges. what should do? i know who stole the stuff but i dont want to put them under the bus ya know. they are real close. the prosecutor has no prove that i stole it but i am still being charged with it. what should i do?
