Cold heavy tingly hand?

last sunday i had a hockey game were i got hit with the puck in the wrist thumb area really hard. I went to the er and my ortho and they said its badly bruised.They gave me a brace to wear which i wore for two days. Friday,during school, my hand got really cold to the touch, almost like i put it in a bucket of ice and its also tingly and numb and feels like a dead weight on my arm. so my mom tool me back to the er where they said that i have pain skin. like no ****! my hand still feels numb, cold to the touch and tingly. does anyone know what it is? should i go back to my orthopedist?
